During the fall semester of 2012, Mathieu Plourde, Educational Technologist and Ed.D. student at the University of Delaware taught a class for the very first time. Titled "Social Networking", this hybrid class was designed to help students take control of their digital footprint and establish their personal learning network as educators, with the added objective of using as many open strategies as possible. This session will present these multiple facets of openness, and why they might represent the next "new normal".
